Founded in 1956 as the “Antiques Fair,” this prestigious gathering has gracefully evolved over the decades, establishing itself as an unmissable rendezvous for art enthusiasts, collectors, and galleries from across the globe. Today, BRAFA is celebrated for its eclecticism, its warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the exceptional quality of the works it brings to light.

Furthermore, to mark this exceptional anniversary, BRAFA has invited Joana Vasconcelos, the internationally acclaimed Portuguese artist renowned for her monumental sculptures and textile art. Her work bridges the gap between tradition and modernity, fearlessly exploring themes as diverse as femininity, consumerism, popular culture, and power. One of the highlights of the fair will be her striking installation, “The Valkyries.” These bold reinterpretations of Norse mythological figures are adorned with vibrant, patterned fabrics, creating a dazzling visual spectacle that promises to captivate visitors.
