MILLE et CLAIRE’ Limited Edition Séma

Black Cushions Séma

This new collection, was born from MILLE et CLAIRE’s will to enhance natural materials together with the traditional skills of the craftsmen of Uttarakhand, an Indian state located in between Tibet and Nepal. hand woven woolen pattern is enhancing the off- white shades of threads and texture
variations Soften with clay, the transformation of the wild nettle into yarn is made with natural processes, respectful of men and nature. Nettle is and ecological and precious raw material, considered as the mystic plant of Himalaya Nettle fibres is a protective fiber and brings a positive and balanced electromagnetic field. Nettle is a thermal and biodegradable fibre. It is hand-spun and hand woven for MILLE et CLAIRE.

The Sema designs are hand woven with different patterns on front and back. The designs get their inspiration in the traditional costumes worn by one of the Nagaland tribe from North East India.
