Conception of the Hôtel de la Poste (2009)
A STORY BEGINS
Transformation and renovation of the Ronchinne Domain in a hotel of 42- room with seminar rooms and restaurant. The imposing castle and its ancillary buildings, formerly occupied by the post office are from the end of the 19th century and were originally the property of the Princess Clémentine, daughter of Leopold II.
BETWEEN AUTHENTICITY AND CONTEMPORARY
The main purpose was to respect the spirit of the place while injecting a contemporary touch and to create an architectural partition in harmony with its historical context, a link between past and present. The decoration has been realised in collaboration with Marie’s Corner.
