Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young are the duo that form Estudio Persona. Their collaboration and Uruguayan roots bring a refreshing juxtaposition to the design of their furniture and objects. The colourful and vibrant cliché is reversed in favour of a brutalist design evoking natural forms and sculptural lines. The absence of colour brings a distinctly neutral and minimalist aesthetic language. They work with natural materials in a highly contrasting manner. Estudio Persona is representative of a new Hispanic minimalism, feminine and in constant evolution, which gives life to sustainable forms.
