Sculptor and designer born in Argentina in 1955, Pablo Reinoso is known for his Spaghetti Benches. He reinvents the everyday object with humour and lightness. His work conceals an ethical bias – respect for nature and materials – and a questioning of the meaningless approaches of a certain contemporary “design”. His installations and sculptures reveal a profound mastery of the environment linked to our perception of the world, landscape and space. His work is part of a logic of deployment and growth, and finds its way into monumentality while maintaining a relationship to the human scale. The artist currently lives and works in Paris, France.
